Year 12 students have signed out of school in what has been one of worst years in modern history. Talking to a few young people from Camden High School they took on on the year with determination and showed that they are a resilient lot - ready for anything. Good on them and best for the future.

The Energy Minister and MP for Hume, Angus Taylor has released the federal government's road map to economic recovery focusing on gas - the experts and non-experts whose future depend on a cleaner climate - have given it the thumps down, disappointed that renewables have largely been ignored.

Wollondilly has a new mayor - Councillor Robert Khan has been elected for the next 12 months with Cr Michael Banasik as deputy mayor. It's the last time councillors will be able to elect for this spot - in the 2021 Local Government Election, residents will vote for a popularly elected mayor, who will hold the position for four yeas.
